Our next event will be participating in the 2025 Hill Country Classical Guitar Ensemble Festival & Competition!
This festival, held at the Texas State University – San Marcos School of Music, is a national competition open to guitar ensembles of all grade levels, with adjudication by Tony Morris (Classical Guitar Alive), Michael Keplinger (composer and Texas Lutheran University instructor) and Arnold Yzaguirre (ACG guitar instructor and Artist for Music Healing).

- 6:30PM: Performance by Ibison Guitar Duo
March 29, 2025
- 8AM: Competition Check-In
- 11AM-4PM: Competition Performances
- 6:30PM: Awards Ceremony & Michael Kelsey Performance
The festival recommends arriving in San Marcos no earlier than 5:30PM on March 28th and parking in the Pleasant Street garage across the street from the music building (free after 5PM).
